Pluggin not working in 4.4 - WalkingBass
Hi Guys
I tried to get this Plugin working in Musescore 4.4.0 and I got no response.
I tried it in Musescore 3.6.2 and the internal program Menu fired up but I
didn't get it to write any notes on my Bass Staff.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks John

If I select the staff with the chord symbols it works for me (rather primitive with the default settings). If you attach the score I can try more.
EDIT: Running MU3.6. In 4.4 most plugins are broken. Google

Thanks for the help.
I couldn't get it to run in 4.4.0
I was successful in 3.6.2
In the Menu I found the Enter button at the bottom when I expanded the Menu!
I also discovered my Bass clef was actually defined as a Treble Clef. When I corrected this it worked.
Thanks. I will use Musescore version 3 for the WalkingBass plugin.

The original plugin has been updated. There is not reason to have 2 versions.

Thanks graffesmusic
This works in Windows 11 , Musescore 4.4.1
It is better than the 3 version as the created Menu is much clearer and sized better.
Thanks
Hi John,
I've updated the WalkingBass plugin now, to work with MuseScore Studio v4.4 and later. I've also made the UI a bunch cleaner, hiding a number of options behind a settings window, and added a couple of new features like Skips and 2-bar patterns.
You can get it at

Hi Phil,
I have put on your new version and it works perfectly on Windows 11, just as you describe.
Thanks for the update
