How to Sync Rehearsal Marks from Score to Parts?
Hi! I'm working on an original wind ensemble piece and am currently refining the part scores so that they look presentable. I am wondering if there's a way to have the rehearsal marks that I already wrote into the main score to translate into all of the parts. All of the measures have been numbered in both the main score and part scores, but I'm looking for a setting or method to automatically turn the desired measure numbers into rehearsal marks instead of doing this manually. I am running the current version of MuseScore Studio if that affects anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Edit: Also, if there's a way to easily configure rehearsal marks that lie within a certain instrument's multimeasure rest to break it up on their part at the mark, that'd be great!

That link has a section that says that all rehearsal marks in the main score should automatically carry over into the parts, but that's not what happened for me. Do you know of a setting or method that can automatically sync them?

They should automatically sync and automatically carry over into the parts.
Have you ever clicked on "Parts" and seen the individual parts?
Have you reset the parts?
Is it really a rehersal mark and not a staff text?

Yes, I have seen the individual parts with the parts menu. I would like to have the rehearsal marks transfer to there from the main score but they have not.
I haven't reset the parts, but I purposefully waited until I was basically finished with the score to generate the part scores because I know that they can be buggy or oddly formatted. So the part scores were made after the rehearsal marks were already put in there.
Where is the option to reset the parts and if I do, will that affect text, fonts, formatting, etc.? Is there a way to undo that?
Yes, they are all rehearsal marks. I added measure numbers using the style settings then edited the ones that I wished to become rehearsal marks using the properties menu and physically changing them from measure numbers to rehearsal marks.
I did have to add the measure numbers into the part scores using the style settings, so I believe that the problem lies there.
Thanks for the help!

Regular rehearsal marks are automatically transferred to the parts. Not measure numbers for which you have modified the text style (to rehearsal marks)
Why did you do this? Why not continue to use regular rehearsal marks? Resetting the parts (in Parts / three dots "..." / Reset, will not change this.

I did this because that's the method that I thought of at the time, but you're correct that the "regular" method is way easier. After trying it for a couple rehearsal marks in my score, they transferred to the parts!
I think everything should be solved now; thanks for the help!

If you want the measure numbers in the rehersal markings, simply set one from the palette and change the letter "A" to the correct measure number. All other markings that you set will then be measure numbers!
Be careful with an anacrusis: this is not measure 1.
(At least in MuseScore 3)
