Incorrect number of beats in one measure, in one instrument only
Hopefully, the score page is attached! Notice measure #29, the second stave from the top: Eb cornet part.
There are only 3 beats in that one measure, all the rest are just fine. I went into "measure Properties" and the actual matches the nominal duration. I can find no way to correct this. [inline:]
Any assistance will be much appreciated! I hate a mystery.

Hi
It appears that bar has been corrupted somehow.
I managed to solve it (I think) by deleting that one bar, inserting it again and re-entering the notes.

I had this problem once with a big score, and did the same thing to repair it ....

Thanks, chen lung! I did that and made it work. I was surprised that it didn't remedy it when I checked the actual/nominal box under measure property.
Now that the program has subtracted a beat from a 4/4 bar once, it's happening again. I tried dropping the 4/4 symbol into the bar just to remind it that it should have 4 beats but, no luck.

Ta-dah! I removed the bar, added it back in and re-did it. Seems like it shouldn't need such a fix but it worked. So NOW, how do I get the play back to play the whole song, including the second verse. It wants to go through the 2 first ending bars and on to the 4 2nd ending bars. How to fix?

You need a Volta, or jump. See the Handbook for how to do this: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/voltas
