Cannot add time signature to particular bar. Bug?
Can someone suggest why I cannot add a 6/8 (or any other) time signature to bar 197 in this score, please? I am dragging from the Time Signatures pallet to the appropriate bar but when I release the mouse button on the bar, no time signature appears. I can successfully add a time signature the same way to either bar 196 or bar 198.
In trying to work out what was going on, I have also tried removing the tempo marking on b197. I've twice now seen MuseScore crash when doing this so something is definitely amiss.

I don't know why dragging doesn't work, but the alternative method does. Select the first rest in that bar, and then click on the 6/8 in the palette.

Thanks, that alternative method works for me too.
Out of interest, do you experience any crashes when deleting the tempo? I've not found a directly reproducible case, but this has happened to me twice, at least once after I had tried to drag in the time signature. I would guess that the two issues are somehow related.
