brackets to show which hand is playing in MuseScore Studio 4
Hello, this older forum topic explains how brackets showing which hand is playing (left/right) are added in previous version: E.g. "Play with right hand" from Symbols in Master palette: https://musescore.org/en/node/182291
But I am not able to find anything like this in MuseScore Studio 4.4 - the bracket from Arpeggios and Glissandi has both top and bottom end closed, while the bracket I need has top or bottom open..
Thanks for help
I found this attached image on the net which shows what I need

I don't see any brackets at all in your screenshot, open-ended or otherwise.

It looks like an L or, I hope these will display correctly:

I found the symbol in the Insert special characters dialog, under Music symbols / Keyboard techniques. I entered it as "Fingering" text, but I'm sure there are better ways. The symbol is a bit small and the only way I could make it bigger was to increase the text font, which also made it wider: probably not desirable.

That symbol is also available on Master Pallete (shift+F9), Symbols section.
