difficulty with : ties
Hello Musescorers:
I'm having trouble with ties in the most recent Musecore (4.4.3.242971445-x86_64 for ubuntu) for a situaiton where I want to "tie" chords accross 2 adjacent measures.
I've attached the problem: Musescore is either very, very angry for me or this is a bad dream.
Can someone please suggest how to resolve this?

I think you have selected both the tied-from note and the tied-to note. You should only select the tied-from note. Musescore adds the tie from the selected note to the next note of the same pitch, even though that next note is not selected.

Thank you so much for offering to look at the score in more detail. Another commenter provided a solution that use a musescore principle that I had forgotten: using the "from" "to" principle in joining things as with ties.
It was a simple solution and worked perfectly.
