copy measures should be complete copy
My suggestion is that in the Edit menu, you add a feature where we can pick and choose what to copy in a measure. When we copy a measure, it should allow us the opportunity to copy time signature, staff text, and system text, along with the notes, lyrics, slurs and such. It should be a complete copy. Currently, I have hymns we sing 3 or more verses for, and I put them in as single verses, not one on top of the other. So, after typing out the music, with all of the measures having different time signatures, I have to change all of the time signatures in the next measures I want to copy TO, before I can copy and paste them in. Then I have to and add all of the system and staff text above the measures that didn't get copied. This should not be the case. Please make our life easier and allow us to copy ALL of what is in a measure, as stated above. Thank you.

See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15590 where the difficulties of implementing this are discussed. If you can come up with some sensible solutions to some of those difficulties you can share them there.
And particularly see https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15590#issuecomment-234479… where the potential scheduling of work on the issue is mentioned.

Thanks. Interesting to see that after the first comments exactly two years ago, it still has not been done. My suggestion would be to make it like Finale did it, in the Edit menu, have an item for Use Filter, and Edit Filter, with many check boxes to pick what you want to copy in that measure.

Copy is easy. The difficulties arise when you consider what should happen when the clipboard contents are pasted in each of the many possible destination situations.
