not hearing anything on playback
I was able to hear it just fine yesterday but today, i cant hear anything. My volume is turned on and when I hit play the playback goes but I can't hear anything.

Did you plug or unplug headphones after starting MuseScore?

no i wasn't using headphones it was just playing out of my laptop speaker

I have the same problem. Playback visuals work, but no sound.

It's been a week ... any word on sound disappearing on us?

In the program, have you tried a Factory reset in the Help tab?
If that doesn't work, another user had luck doing this:
Don't forget the restarts.
Uninstall MU4 (MuseScore4). Restart computer. Download the MU4 installer from the download page without the HUB. Run the installer. Before you open MU4 Restart computer again, Then open MU4. Good luck.
