Bug regarding copy-paste of individual notes
I am not able to copy/paste individually selected notes. I can copy whole bars or single notes, but not select 2 or more notes for copy/paste.
Also copying a note in voice 2 is not preserved in voice 2 by pasting, but one could argue this to be intentional.
See video: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTVZIrnfTHR
I have only tried on a Mac.

Use the 'Selection Filter' (View -> Selection Filter) when you have voice 1 and 2. Otherwise you don't need it but the selection works the same way: Select the first note, shift select the last note.
There are two selection methods: List select and range select. This work only with range select.

Thanks - I didn't know about the selection filter. It does provide a - somewhat cumbersome - solution when you have 2 voices.. But suppose you have a chord or 2 notes, both written in voice 1. You want to select some bottom notes and copy them to somewhere else. Copy/paste does not seem to work on individual notes.
But at least I have a workaround: select the notes, I wish to copy, change them to voice 2, copy/paste, and then reverse them to voice 1.
May I suggest this as a new feature request: The ability to copy/paste individual notes.

How about adding an extra staff and typing voice 2 in it as voice 1? Then you just run the implode function

Fine idea, but I am not looking for workarounds, I just suggest that copy/paste of several individual notes is implemented, since this is a common feature in other software.

Copy/paste definitely works on individual notes. I have not been able to figure out what you are doing that doesn't allow it.
But the easiest way to get this done is to enter the notes into the correct voices originally rather than entering them all into one voice and changing them later.

Copy/paste works on 1 individual note, not several. At least on my 2 Macs - I don't know if there's a difference on Windows. I really don't do anything special, and would like to see a video showing otherwise.
It is not always the easiest to enter notes in voice 2 originally: Let's say you want to write for the altos in the same rhythm as the sopranos. Then you select the soprano voice and add a third below, and then afterwards change the notes to voice 2 and correct the pitches. This saves a lot of time.

Looks like this dude wrote a plugin to allow copy/pasting from list selections (notes) as you appear to be attempting. Might be worth testing:

Yep, seems to work well here (version 4.4.4). Tested only in two scenarios.
In the first case, I can select two notes and paste them. In the second case, with two Voices and a different duration, pasting also works, except that the duration of the half note is not respected. Is this a problem?

Replying to OP’s post of 26 Jan 10am: in this particular instance, you could copy the voice one notes, then add a voice 2 and paste into that, leaving you with unisons with up and down stems. Then enter the voice 2 notes you want by using the “re-pitch” option: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/alternative-note-input-methods#Acce…
