MuseSounds Pipe Organ
I just purchased the MuseSounds Pipe Organ. I was excited to be able to have a decent pipe organ with several presets available for playback and demos of my compositions. However, within MuseScore, when I go to that sound library from the mixer, I only get the options of "Manual" or "Pedal".
Do I need to be in a DAW to access all the features? I currently compose / create my works within MuseScore from the computer keyboard.)

This does NOT work! I have BOUGHT MuseHub Pipe Organ. It does NOT appear in MuseScore. The "Staff text" option? Where is that? It's not on my MuseScore score.
My apologies for this rather annoyed post, but I am VERY fed up about this!
I would very much appreciate any help you could give me, please.

Go to the Text palette and select Staff text. Did you download the Pipe Organ User Guide?

I did. "Stave text" does nothing. "Staff text" isn't there (never has been).

I also downloaded that user guide. Useless for this purpose, though very good ONCE the damned thing is there at all!

When you open your mixer, click on the sound in the appropriate voice / instrument, click on Muse Sounds / then Muse, does Muse Pipe Organ show as an option.

Then my guess is (only a guess) that your download of the pipe organ was flawed. Maybe interrupted or put in the wrong folder or...?
I would contact technical support.

Maybe you're right, but it's odd that I downloaded TWO different organs and NEITHER are showing.

I saw in the information about the organ that you access the stops through Staff Text. The same way you would change attributes of any Instrument.

Does your Stave Text do anything for any instrument?
You are supposed to be able to click a note where you want an effect to start. Add a staff text. a speaker icon appears. Selecting the icon opens the presets.

It worked for MuseHub steins, brass, etc. Now nothing.

I'm new to this forum stuff, so I'm reposting this reply after your most recent reply to my thrice asked question :-(.

Another thought: Have you tried doing Staff Text with another Muse Sound voice to see if that works? It only works with Muse Sound instruments. .

A good idea.
I tried it with trumpet, and it worked perfectly.
The problem is that the MuseHub Pipe Organ file just isn't there. God knows where it is ... :(

My apologies.
I had become very confused by this.
Problem now solved.
My browser stated that the download had taken place, but that was a browser error, it had not.
I have now done so, and it all works.

Glad you figured it out. As you can see, this thread started with my ignorance of staff text. I'm still unlearning Finale and getting familiar with MuseScore. there is a lot to learn.

voxclamans, You open the Hub in a browser? Interesting. I have it as an app that has its own window.

Just that you said that it was a browser mix up. It said the download happened when it didn't.
