Freezing while inputting notes
I am having an issue with Musescore Studio continuously freezing while trying to compose. I have updated the software, cleaned out my cache and RAM on my pc and it continues. I have the latest version on my pc at work with Windows 11. It works fine on my MacBook at my house.

Musescore freezes permanently or for a short time?

Anywhere from 10-30 seconds. It’s inconsistent. When I do a playback, the sound continues but the scrolling on the screen will freeze and then jump to where the playback is on the music and continues until freezing again. While I am inputting notes and it freezes, I can continue the writing process and it will put all of the notes in the measures when it stops freezing. I cannot see the notes going in as I type them until after it stops freezing.
I also have this exact issue. It is especially worse on large scores.
