Uninstall updates from version 4
The latest updates have messed up many of my scores created in the previous version.
i want to know the process for uninstalling the updates.
I DO NOT want to know how to go through all my scores to make them compatible to the new version. thank you

You can't uninstall the updates. You can go to the Download page and scroll down to Older Versions. Uninstall the version you have first.

Since the recent update one big problem I'm having trouble correcting is the distance from barline to note has not stayed consistant throughout any given score that was created in the past. The distance ranges from correctly placed to a wide gap from barline to the first note. Even in two measures where there are just two quarter notes in each measure. One has correct placement of notes and the next has a wide gap from barline to note. I've tried messing with all kinds of settings under Format/Style/Measures. I'm at a loss what to do.

Yes, the new update will re-format your scores to take up less space whether you like it or not. If you have many system and page breaks, the update should honor them. If you don't have very many, or any, then it will do what it thinks is best. You can delete any breaks you may have and re-enter them as needed and then lock your score. Then it should be OK.
