help writing diminished chord symbol. followed instructions but not workin

Hi there.
I'm trying to write a diminished symbol over a chord, but following the instructions doesnt seem to be working.
The chord is a C# diminished.
I tried writing C#m-dim and pressing space.
I tried writing C#mo and pressing space.
Nothing seems to be working. (i also tried writing just Co to see if the # or m was getting in the way, but still not working.
I set the properties to Jazz and still not working.
any ideas???
