How to select a measure that doesn't want to be selected
Hello everyone
I find that sometimes I can select measures, and sometimes I can't. When I can't, it sometimes helps to close the file and reopen it. Rarely, it helps to zoom in. But sometimes, nothing helps, and I'm unable to select a measure.
Right now I want to delete certain lyrics without having to use Ctrl+click on every word. I set the Selection Filter to "Lyrics", but then no matter where I click, I can't select any measure. Is there a trick to tell MuseScore, "I want to select the measure that the mouse is currently desperately clicking on"?
This also often happens when I try to select just one voice in a staff: I select e.g. "Voice 2" in the Selection Filter, but then I can no longer select any measure. Usually closing and reopening the file solves it. But right now, trying to select lyrics, nope.
Thanks
Samuel

Have you untick "Voice1" in Selection Filter? In this case, the measures cannot be selected (but the rests/noteheads can)
Otherwise, please share the involved score.

Aah, okay. Thanks for that tip.
For me it is way quicker to leave everything on in the selection filter and first select the measure normally. Then right-click a lyrics and use Select → All Similar Elements in Range
