Some soundfonts exported into synthesizer aren't saving
Heyyo all! I'll try and make this quick. I'm making a kind of videogame-y piece right now, so I downloaded this sonic 3 soundfont, and it worked great...until I exited the program. When I went back into musescore to work some more on it, the soundfont I had imported wasn't there, and all the instruments I'd changed the sound of had turned back into pianos. I had downloaded different soundfonts before in hopes of finding a one that suited what I wanted sound-wise, and some of those were still in the synthesizer while some others had vanished just like the sonic 3 one. I'm still pretty new to all this midi and synthesizer stuff, so it's probably just a rookie mistake, but I couldn't find any information on any other topics similar to this one that wasn't from a few years ago. Does anyone have a solution? I'm running on Mac OS Sierra and I have version 2.0.3 of Musescore. Thanks!

Actually you know what, I kind of figured it out! I think making the new sonic 3 soundfont the default sondfont for musescore is a temporary solution, if anyone else is having the same issue. If anyone else has a better way though (since this way feels a bit inefficient if you're working on 2 different scores around the same time) please let me know! :)

Making it the default is indeed one way to go., Another is to use the "Save to Score" and "Load from Score" buttons, if you have different sets of soundfonts you'd like associated with different scores.
