Cresc. and Dim. font size
Is there a way to change the font size on for cresc. and dim. (Hairpins)? I have found the place where you can change the text, for instance from "cresc." to "crescendo poco a poco," but not how to change the font size.

When you change the text there is a button with ... to the right of the text. Press it and you get the same options as any text property.
If you want all of your Crescendos to look the same, after you make your adjustments place it in a custom work space. Use that crescendo and it will remember your settings.

Mike, thanks for your helpful response. The first paragraph was quite clear, but I don't know how to place a new "cresc." in a custom work space. (I know how to create a custom work space, just not how to add new things.)

The process is not common.
Press ctrl+shift
Drag the item from the score to the palette
Release ctrl+shift
It's tricky until you get used to it.

Thank you.
However, a much simpler method is to go to Style / Text and change the text style for Hairpin.

I never noticed the hairpin text style before.

There wasn't one until we added the text versions of the lines :-)
