I am running Windows 7 on an older Dell (an Optiplex 360) and upgraded to Muse Score 3.0 - Muse Score tells me I need a new video driver - will this really work with Windows 7 and an older Dell? Am I better off just sticking with Muse Score 2.1?

I also installed Mint on the formatted Dell Optiplex. Try the Live version.

Mint?

He refers to the Linux distribution called 'Mint'. No idea why this should be relevant here ....

Shoichi used mint to install a 32 bit version of Musescore 3 on his computer rather than using an unofficial 32 bit windows version or waiting until the official 32 bit version comes out sometime in the next couple of months. I'm not sure this is relevant, but Shoichi doesn't speak a lot of English and I'm not sure the OP has a 32 bit operating system.
