Popping noise after selecting or adding notes and after stopping playback
There is a weird clicking/popping noise after I touch or notate a note. It's like the end of the note is cutting off and popping. This also happens when you stop the playback, the last note will pop.

What OS (operating system)? What version of MuseScore?
"Touch or notate a note" on midi keyboard? Computer (e.g. QWERTY) keyboard?
Is this new behavior?

I’m running OS 10.13.6 on a MacBook Air and this just started when I changed over to MuseScore 3. And it’s not when I use a midi keyboard, just selecting a note on the screen. This is new for it to happen all the time, it happened a little on MuseScore 2, but not this much.

Are you using a special soundfont or Musescore's original soundfont?

No I am not, I have the drumline sound font made by MuseScore but I don’t see why that would effect a piece that doesn’t have a Drumline instrument. I could be wrong though.

Some poorly designed unofficial soundfonts have such a key-release problem. So I asked you to be sure.
In your case this shouldn't have an effect.
