To be clear, though - it's not so much a review of MuseScore itself but of its user interface design. So, it's less focused on the features or output quality as it is on the visual appearance, ergonomics, etc.

Agreed, although his comments about productivity vs. Sibelius are valid and worth considering as priority enhancements. Some of the UI issues are frustrating but easy to work around (e.g. the Parts dialog), but the number of mouse clicks to accomplish common tasks can be critical.
I'd love to see a detailed review of Musescore 3 features vs. other notation programs (e.g. an update to https://www.reddit.com/r/composer/comments/9yue29/comparison_of_feature…).
