Having staff distance be applied automatically to fill a page to get rid of blank space
When making a score, you have to scale the score down so it can fit on to the first page with the title and subtitle. It would be cool for all the staves for the rest of the pages to evenly spread out to fill the page so there isn't blank space at the bottom. In the style menu under page you can adjust staff distance. I wish that there was a toggle to make this automatic to fill the pages neatly so the score look more professional.
In the attached image you can see what I mean. The left page is spaced well and the music fills the page whereas on the second page there is a gap.
Thanks.

Something like Format/Style/Page->Last system fill threshold that can affect the lower margins of the last page?

I tried editing those values but changing it didn't change anything visually.

Exactly like that proposal.

waste of paper
But if instead of having the white space at the bottom of the page it is equally distributed between the accollatures... the use of paper seems equivalent

At least the paper is being used. I know waste isn't the best literal word but I think the idea is understood.
I guess I could have said, That's quite the underutilization of the paper being employed in the score. 😉

;-)
Of course, every publishing house imposes its own margins. I don't know if the subject is included in Elaine Gould's "Behind Bars", personally I prefer, displaying the last two pages side by side, that the Systems (accollature) are aligned until present.
And this is certainly OT in the Feature request.

That would require allowing hiding staves on individual pages, you you can have the same number of staves on both pages. I saw a suggestion for that in the last couple of days, but didn't look for it for this discussion.
Of course you do more choral scores, so your preference makes sense.
