Courtesy natural/Key Signature
Switching from F Major to C major should the Natural appear in the next stave or not?
They appear only as courtesy in the previous one.
The image attached to the Italian forum (https://musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/2019-05/Armatura%20di%2… ) shows (better than I express myself) the anomaly. But I didn't search well or I didn't find something on the subject (for example what does Gould think about it?) and even though I have a 64-bit Win 10, I haven't exported the last Nightly (mea culpa).
Thx ;-)

If the key change is at the system break, then the natural should only appear in the courtesy key signature. Repeating it is unnecessary and I've not seen it.

I think so, too. Apparently different countries, different schools of thought.
As in the days of diplomacy ('70) I play ping pong (as a ball) ;-)

The only picture I see is a score created by Claudio, which is a mistake in my opinion. In the case of exercises (etudes), the second scenario is what I would expect. This prevents the need for section breaks before each exercise.
If Claudio showed a picture from a published piece of music I would think about it some more, but the current result is what I expect.

Good morning, 2.3.2 and 3.1. On 3.1 it works as for 2.3.2 if you save and reopen.

Using 3.1-beta 2 and 2.3.2 they constantly look the same to me. Courtesy key signature is not showing for some reason.
I think I confused myself...and you yesterday. If there is no courtesy, then I expect the accidental to show on new staff to confirm there is a key change. But I prefer only seeing the courtesy key signature.
Here is the score I created in 3.1-beta 2. It works as expected.

Here is the score I created in 2.3.2. which also works as expected.

I don't know what Claudio is doing different. As you can see, the show courtesy is checked on all key signatures in all of our scores.
The only difference I see is the Claudio's scores say they were made in Linux. Perhaps there is a bug only in the Linux app?

I'm on Linux Mint, close reopen fix the natural. See my example scores in https://musescore.org/it/node/289029#comment-918709
Later I will try to do everything again, step by step, for Claudio.
Don't give it too much thought, however, sooner or later the new version will arrive and who knows what it will reserve for us ;-)

You versions look the same as the previous ones on my computer. Perhaps this was something fixed in 3.1-beta. I agree we can revisit this when 3.1 is released if needed.
