Can't Remove Rests

is the measure too long for the rest or do you need to press a note alphabet to change it to a note. Rests either appear or you can change to a note name. You can also shorten the measure to match up with the first measure Right click measure properties and change the measure to 1 or 3 or whatever length of timing you need the measure in. No need to remove the rest, that actually wouldn't help. To move things over, just move thing right on top of the rest. That is, select what you want moved, Ctrl+X to cut, click where you want to move it (e.g., the rest), Ctrl+V to paste.
