Create auto-accompaniment
I would like to have the function: "Create auto-accompaniment".
For example:
You write a melody with chords.
Click to ACMP, select a style
and MuseScore automaticly create accompaniment.
It could use for example yamaha style file.
Comments
While MuseScore, over time, may be able to be all things to all people, I think this is very low priority for a Notation program. Others may disagree.
I hope that the focus remains, as it has so far, on generating an extremely facile and capable Notation program.

Agreed. But one nice thing about the modern software world is the degree to which programs can work together. There is a plugin (see Plugins menu at right of this page) you can install that will export a MuseScore file in Impro-Visor format. Impro-Visor is a free & open source program that can generate accompaniment. You can also install a plugin to export in iReal b format. IReal b is an iOS app that also does automatic accompaniment.

Do not forget MMA http://www.mellowood.ca/mma/
With the improved MIDI import in the next version, it would be cool to plug MuseScore and MMA. Write a melody, choose a style, send MMA file and style to a server running MMA via a plugin, get MIDI back and display it in MuseScore. Any python hacker to put MMA on a webserver?

Great tip - many thanks!
I have found this: abc2mma-0.51
It converts abc files to mma but it needs perl.
Could it be directly implemented into musescore?
(Export chords as mma file.)

Not quite there yet for the full workflow, but a basic MMA can now be generated using the MuseScore plugin at https://github.com/berteh/BandInMuseScore
Lots of things need to be improved or checked. Ideas and contributions are welcome.

Could you convert it for MuseScore 3 please?

port to MuseScore3 is done, and tested on windows.
Kindly read install documentation and gave me feedback if it's clear enough to get it running.
Install process shouldn't take more than 3 minutes in ubuntu and 10 in windows.
