3.3RC: Can't set text height in text frame or vertical frame?
OS: macOS 10.15, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.0.23833, revision: d3bff12
No matter what I do, in a text frame or vertical frame, if I try to change the height of the text I just entered from 12 to 15, the instant I click away, it reverts to 12.
(UPDATE) If I exit the blue edit box, and click on the text so it doesn't edit-highlight, the adjustment works. Don't know if the other behavior is a change or not.

The Inspector indeed only works in non-text-edit mode currently. Having it enabled as it is now is only confusing; either it should be made to work then as well, or be disabled during edit mode.
It has been the case for some time now that the Inspector doesn't work while editing text, not just for frame text but any text. For some reason it seems this has been noticed and reported more here the past couple of weeks, though. I have said I thought the best short term solution is to disable the Inspector while editing But apparently, it's not just the Inspector, there are other operations MuseScore doesn't prevent you from doing while editing text, but they similarly don't actually work. See #295544: Actions applied during text editing more automatically revert on return to normal mode

Ha, ha, ha! That's very funny! Did you hear the one about about the inspector and the mouse who walk into a bar .... and say, "Take note! This is not without measure!" .... Honestly, how many years have I been using this and that "feature" didn't occur to me? @jeetee is right.
