Dock Palette and Inspector horizontally to top/bottom
I have been experimenting with using MuseScore on my laptop with the screen rotated into portrait mode. This allows me to maximize the size of the music on screen while I work at my piano. However, I'm unable to dock either the Inspector or Palettes panels to the top or bottom of the work area, which would allow me to zoom in a great deal on the score while still keeping important tools on-screen. Just wondering if that would be possible.

I don't think it is, but it's a good idea. Note you can undock them completely though (you probably realize that) and maybe that would work well enough?

Yes, I have tried that, and while it's certainly better than nothing, it would be terrifically helpful to either not have to fight to keep the current playback in view (if I position them at the top) or to not have to re-position them every odd occasion I open Musescore in landscape (if I put them at the bottom).

Understood. But fwiw, I was envisioning positioning the palette and inspector completely outside the main window, so there shouldn’t be any concern about keeping the score in view.
