Adding a Staff
Hello all,
I am trying to add another staff for vocals in an already-existing score. I have figured out how to do so, however, I cannot figure out how to put the staff above the piano treble and bass clefs. Musescore automatically places the new staff underneath the piano parts, which just looks awkward and is not how music is formatted.
Any help?
Em

“To change the order of instruments (or staves) in the score:
Click either an instrument name or a staff, in the right-hand column, and use the arrow buttons to move it higher/lower“.
Also, here is a blank score that you could save as a template if you do a lot of piano/vocal work.

Thank you! This made my day!
There is also a voice+piano template already built in to MuseScore, you can just select it when creating a new score.

Gotcha!

Yes, of course, but the template has a G-clef with subscript (8) (Treble clef optional 8vb) but most musical theatre stuff just has a normal Treble Clef. Also, I dislike the inbuilt vocal sounds and prefer a flute sound, hence I use my custom file.
