Note Input mode
Down arrow to get below lines
type 'a'
down arrow to get '/a'
exit note input mode (or hit escape or move cursor to another place and click)
the decoration doesn't "stick" - when you exit the '/a' turns to 'a'.
i'm fairly certain this worked in an earlier nightly build that i tried a few months ago, so hopefully i've just forgotten to do something.

Could you attach the score where you notice this behaviour?

ok, the link didn't help ;) BUT i figured out the error of my ways, i was trying to enter the letter first, then modify - turns out no, you arrow to the slash (or number) you want, THEN hit the 'a' or whatever. makes entering 4, 5 and 6 a little odd, but ok fine.
