Old Yamaha
I'm new, so if this should go in another category I'd like to know which one:)
I have an old Yamaha DX-21 keyboard. It has midi connections. Can anyone tell me if, due to how old it is, I can expect compatablilty issue with MuseScore or my Win based computer when I connect with a midi interface cable? Has anyone connected one of these 'era' keyboards and is currently using it in their setup?
I'm not doing anything fancy... just want to have fun playing around with some song ideas.

P.S. The next thing I'm going to ask is a similar question, but regarding also connecting my drum machine to the same setup. Eventually.

I have a circa 20 year old Yamaha keyboard (PSR400). It works fine in all the programs I've tried it with. Be aware though that Musescore isn't a MIDI editor. The only thing you can use the keyboard for in MS is note entry - unless you're envisaging using it for playback

My old Yamaha keyboard isn't quite that old, but it's a very basic model: PSR-E203. Works just fine for Note Entry with MuseScore.
