Musescore not sharing or releasing audio resources?

I'm running Musescore on linux (PCLOS). If I listen to any score and then try to play a sound file on Clementine I get an error message "missing a Gstreamer plug-in. " I believe I have all the relevant plug-ins and libraries installed and to verify this it only happens after I've used Musescore. Closing Musescore does not help. Restarting the PC fixes it until I use Musescore again.

VLC and Audacity will still play audio files.

So is Muscescore grabbing resources and not releasing them when closed?

Musescore doesn't do anything special with gstreamer. Can you check Preferences > IO and see which audio backend is used?
Also, it's probably a bug on PCLOS, and it would be good to report it to them.
