Program is great and all, but these bugs are really annoying.
Slurs don't work. If I slur two notes and hit the play button, it will sound like the notes are tongued.
The Bass Clarinet has all kinds of issues. One, in playback, it always comes in at least half a beat late and makes the whole song sound off. Two, when I give it sixteenth notes, they don't even play during playback, yet they play for Clarinet (I only use Clarinet and Bass Clarinet parts).
The program is by far the best music-writing software I've come across. It's just these issues that are making it really difficult to use. If possible, please fix.

Please, in the future, use the Support forum to ask for help (or "Help / Ask for Help" from within MuseScore. Start separate threads for separate questions, and attach sample scores to each with steps to reproduce the problem. Only if something ias confirmed to be an actual bug rather than a misunderstanding should you then file official bug reports (also, one report at a time, with attached scores and steps to reproduce.
The first thing you mention is not a bug. Slurs are not the same as ties, so be sure to use a tie if you mean a tie. It is true that in the playback, there is no separate sound for wind isntruments to indicate slurs, but that's not a bug, just a feature we don't have yet. Keep in mind, MuseScore is primarily about *notation*; the playback is just a side benefit and is secondary in importance.
For bass clarinet, what you see is probably a side effect of the attempt to make the sound more legato so it can sound not too terrible in passages that are meant to be slurred. You can substitute a different soundfont (see the Handbook under "Soundfont") that has a more crisp attack for the clarinets, but then you'll find your slurred passages sound that much worse. You can't have it both ways, unfortunately.
