Pizzicato is not working
In a composition I'm working on I put pizzicato on a string quartet and the first violin's pizzicato seems to be disabled. I remove the pizzicato and put it back on, and it still doesn't work. This did not happen before with the same exact part of the piece, please help!

Can you attach the score in question? What goes wrong when you try, following the instructions at https://musescore.org/en/node/50196?
I can confirm that the instructions on the Handbook page are a bit vague, and the overall process is somewhat unwieldy.
In any event, to get the pizzicato to sound during playback, one must:
--Set the staff text ('Pizz.') anchored to a note (Steps 1, 2, and 3 in the Handbook). (Note that the actual text you enter is immaterial; the program does not recognise the word 'Pizz.' as an instruction.)
--Right-click on the word 'Pizz.', then select Staff Text Properties from the pop-up menu (Step 4 in the Handbook).
--Assuming you want pizzicato applied to Voice 1 (the only voice you'll have on that staff unless you're writing the 1st violins divisi), Click on Box 1 in the top row to select it (Handbook, Step 5).
--Finally, click on the 'Channel' column in the same row and select 'Pizzicato' from the drop-down list (Handbook, Step 6).
--Click OK to return to the score.
Following the above steps should do it.
