repeat multiple bars
Is it possible to add the symbol and notation for repeating a small number of bars (say 2 or 4 bars repeated several times, where standard repeat notation is a bit cumbersome)?

There is a single bar repeat in the repeats palette already. I know there has been discussion of adding the two-bar repeat symbol as well for the next version, and the possibility was raised of allowing the user to specify the numbers of bars. Although really, only 1 & 2 are common in my experience. But you might want to see if you can find that discussion (might be in the Issue tracker) and weigh in there.
