Basic Dynamics Working, Others are Not
On musescore it allows me to use basic dynamic markings such as piano, forte, and crescendo, but dynamic markings such pf don't appear to be working. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Keep in mind that MuseScore is primarily for creating *notation*; the fact that it also happens to provide playback is secondary. If the marking appears in your score, then the marking is "working" in the msot important sense for a notation program.
That said, it is true that the automatic playback for dynamics only works for markings that work in the traditional way of affecting all notes from that point forward. The few special markings that affect only the current note, or that affect the current note in one way but subsequent notes in a different way, do not play back automatically. You need to use the Inspector to control the playback effect manually for those, but making appropriate "Velocity" settings.
