Insert bars (Measures), form Grand Staff, Add clef
I've written 26 measures (melody) and now I want to form a grand staff by inserting measures under them, forming a grand staff, also with treble clefs etc to add harmony which crosses over the melody (hence the 2 staves).I've inserted 10 new measure to where I want them but I can't drag the bar line, clef or key signature into the first measure. Nothing works. What am I missing?

Go to create -> instruments and add a staff below the one you create within the same instrument.
If I get you correctly, all you need to go is right click on your first measure (or relevant measure) and choose split staff from the menu that pops up (i am assuming you are using windows)
You can then just select and cut paste the notes from your 10 new measures into the new staff measures.
