playing measures not clicked on

hi, this has always been happening and its nvr gotten fixed yet. whenever i try to play, every once it a while, it while play it but like 15 measures or so back. its fairly annoying because it could go away, and they come back again. And when i do it in a coda sometimes, it brings me back near the beginning of the piece... anyone know how to fix this, or atleast the skipping around? thx
