Allow adding accents to chords
Note: Version number should have been 2.0.3.
I would like to be able to accent guitar chords, but currently the program will allow me to add accent marks only to actual notes. Therefore, I'm forced to add an accent above a note (such as in a vocal part being accompanied by guitar) and then stretch it, that is, move it's display location, above the chord symbol. If the accent is to go above a chord symbol which is above a rest, say in a vocal part, since the software also will not allow an accent mark to be added to a rest, then I'm actually adding the accent above a note in the vocal part where it isn't intended and stretching it to the left or right and placing it above the chord symbol where I want it.
Btw, I absolutely love MuseScore!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work! It is invaluable to me in my volunteer work.

When you say chords, I guess you mean chord symbols (G7, etc)? Or maybe feetboard diagrams? Can you show n example of what you mean? Is this something actually found in published music?
Meanwhile, you can add any symbol you like anywhere you like using the Symbols palette - press "Z" to display it. This is how many different non-standard notations can be created.
