Keyboard selection of slurs and other elements.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but from my use so far of MuseScore I have not been able to figure out if it's possible to select a slur or an other element like a crescendo via the keyboard. The handbook says that ctrl+shift+alt left/right will select the next element, but it seems to gloss over a slur or tie or a crescendo. Once a slur is selected via mouse I can go into edit mode with the keys and tab through the points to alter the data, but I can't seem to figure out how to select a slur with the keyboard in the first place and must use a mouse. Is there a way? If there isn't a way, has this been feature requested? If not.... well.... ;)

In the meantime I utilize this little Linux program called Keynav to use my keyboard as a mouse when I don't have a mouse connected: my track-pad doesn't work >:o
