Win7. Install error: "System Administrator Has Set Policies to Prevent This Installation"
Win7. Install error: "System Administrator Has Set Policies to Prevent This Installation"
That's the message I just got when I tried to download and install musescore on this machine.
I put the OS on this machine. I'm not aware of having set any policies anywhere at any time. I wouldn't know how to do it.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

I recall seeing a simialr error trying to install something once and it turned out to have something to do with what folder I was running the installer from. Like, I had downloaded the installer to one folder, then moved it elsewhere, and the permissions were set up such that it could not be run from that alternate location. not sure if what you're seeing is related, but it's something to look into I guess. Even if you didn't move the installer, maybe try running it from a different location.
