Curiously, I can't reproduce on 2.0.3 (AppImage version on Ubuntu). I get a note added to the chord, on the top staff line. If I click that note, the status bar shows it to not have any defined pitch, which I guess is capable of causing a crash but doesn't for me. It does, however, on the master - an assertion failure in Note::setPitch() since the pitch value is -1.
