Midi controller on MuseScore
I hope someone can help me with this, I have lost so many hours trying to set it up.
I bought a midi controller, and I downloaded MuseScore. When I use my controller to compose on MuseScore, I can insert with no problems any kind of chords just by playing them, however, I can hear just one note each time I play a chord to insert it in a sheet music. In short, I play 5 keys at the same time but I just hear one note although the entire chord is pressed on the keyboard and written in the sheet music.
Can anybody help me to configure musescore and jack, in order be able to compose easier, by inserting chords and hearing them as I play them? Thanks in advance, I will be very pleased if you lend me hand.
Best regards, Mario Pinazo

The computer plays only one note of the chord, whichever is pressed first by just a tiny fraction of a second. But the keyboard plays the full chord normally. So, the workaround is to mute the computer and listen to the keyboard. The only extra steps required are muting and unmuting the computer if you want to have the computer play back what you've written.

My key board is a controller and does not have a sound of its own, so, I understand I cannot listen to the chords?

Yes. You could use another synth software on your computer to hear the chords.
