Good day,
I'm typing in lyrics to a chart I imported via PDF.
I've made the edits from the PDF conversion and now I'm on to lyrics. It seems that the lyrics are hidden by the downward stems from voice 2. So I made an adjustment with the lyrics positioning. The words move lower but the dashes and underlines stay in the original position. As if they are superscript. How can I adjust everything in the lyrics, not just the words?

Example is in attachment (mm. 5-8)
I'm actually using Version 2.0.2 But I don't know what component or category I'm using but the forum was adamant I use something. MuseScore told me to copy this: f51dc11
Thank you.

One problem is the lyrics got attached to the wrong voice - they should be in voice 1, not voice 2. I guess that's something the PDF import utility (Audiveris, if you used the one on musescore.com) did.

But it isn't clear how you did the adjustment of the lyrics. The normal way would be to use the Inspector to move individual lyrics or groups of lyrics, or the Text Style to move them all. When I do that with a new score, it works fine. Can you describe more precisely how you moved the lyrics? Ideally, also post a version of the score from before you did the move?

BTW, this isn't the suprport forum, this is the issue tracker; that's why you were asked questions that don't make sense here. in the future, please use the Support forum (Help / Ask for Help, from within MuseScore) rather than the issue tracker to ask support questions.

Thank you about the support forum. I'll look for it. As for moving text, the attachment is from the version I was using. To change the text 'location' I went into style - text - lyrics (odd and even) and adjusted the vertical alignment.

Oh, I see, you changed the *vertical alignment* rather than the *position*. In which case, MuseScore did just what you asked, really You asked for the top text to be aligned with the reference. You need to keep that where it was, but change the *offset*.
