Hiding courtesy time signatures

Is the a way to hide courtesy time signatures (as we can do with key signatures) and not just merely making them invisible? Especially useful when creating exam papers.

You remove courtesy time signatures by clicking "Style", "Edit General Style", then "Page". There will be a box that says "create courtesy time signatures" remove the check and courtesy time signatures will be removed. Likewise with key signatures.
