2 parts in one stave

Hi#
I am new to Musescore so it might be that the answer to my question is already in the software, but I can' see it.
I have a piano part and I want 2 parts in the bass clef.
How do I add a second part?

Sorry I should have added:
Its OK when 2 parts are the same note values, but say I want a low G semi-breve and then an arpeggio of quavers starting on the low G.
I hope that makes sense
