Create line break without stretching last line...
Hello everyone,
I've looked for the answer for this for a while but can't find anything.
When I insert a line break (or page break) the last line stretches out automatically to fit the page. I want it to simply break where it is and keep its stretch as it is.
Example (also as attachment):
I have 20 bars and each line fits 5 bars. I want the second line to break after 2 bars. Now these two bars are auto stretched and look ridiculously wide, inconsistent with the rest of the bars.
Thanks

Based on your image:
1. Create a horizontal frame between measures 7 and 8.
2. Use a line break at the horizontal frame.
3. Adjust size of frame.

Regards.
In the main menu, click on Style>General>Page, then change the value in the Last system fill threshold field to 100%. This will ensure that the last system does not stretch out to fill the entire line.
Note that this only affects the last system in a piece. If you wanted to make other lines within your score set flush left, you would need to use horizontal frames to squeeze the music leftwards. Insert the frame at the point where you want to break the line, then drag a line break into the frame itself. Double click on the frame, then drag the blue editing handle rightwards; the frame will expand leftwards, squeezing the staff to the left.
This will create some rather odd looking pages of music, however.

Yeap, that's what I'm looking for! Thank you both!
