$P in footer does not adhere to set font/size, $n does

• Jan 11, 2025 - 19:26

OS: macOS 13.7, Arch.: x86_64,
MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.4-243461245, revision: 2232670

I set $P/$n in the footer the following way:
Schermafbeelding 2025-01-11 om 20.13.10.png

The result is:
Schermafbeelding 2025-01-11 om 20.06.38.png

where $n has the required font and size, and $P has not

Thanks jojo.

That works. the working of this is real weird and inconsistent...
If I set the font&text size for the footer in "text Styles", only the left side of the footer adheres to this setting.
If I set the font&text size for the pagenumber that works only for the pagenumber as axpected.

To set the font&text size for the number of pages ($n) I still have to set it using the command as specified in my initial entry. Pagenumber will not follow the inline setting at all, while it did in older versions op MuseScore..

So, to make everything constent:
- Make sure "text Styles>footer" works for the whole footer
- Add an (default) option in "Text Styles>Pagenumber" to just follow the footer setting

For now, as workaround I updated my own style the following way:
Text Styles>footer: Arial, size 12, bold
Text Styles>Pagenumber: Arial, size 12, bold
and also leave the inline commands as they are.
