MP3 encoding
I've downloaded Lame_enc.dll but I still can't export in .mp3 format.
I select 'export > .mp3' I then get the message that I need to use Lame and do I want to locate it on my comouter now. I click OK, go to the Lame_enc.dll file, click 'open' and a message pops up on the MuseScore window say 'Cannot open mp3 encoding library'
What am I doing wrong?

Follow the instructions here very closely https://musescore.org/en/handbook/file-formats-0#mp3
If it doesn't work, come back here and state your version of MuseScore, your OS and version (I guess Windows something), and where you downloaded the lame library from.

I'm using MS 2.0.3 on WIndows 8.1. I downloaded lame_enc.dll from here:
http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-libraries.php
I followed the buanzo.org link given in the handbook but there is now download there for the lame file, just a virus assessment of it which gives it a green light.

OK I've got it now. I should have downloaded the Lame .exe file not just the .dll.
I've done that now and it's encoding mp3 fine.
Thanks anyway for your help.
