New Staff
How do you create a new staff? I have a ton of measures on two staffs only. The program won't create any new staffs. I click create measure append measure and then it just gets added to the current two staffs. I'm currently, doing a flute solo.

If it's a flute solo, you don't need more staves - ino matter how long it is, a piece for just one flute is just one staff, using the term in its proper sense. You presumably mean, you need the measures you have to spread themselves out onto more lines of music - these are called systems. Anyhow, MuseScore handles this automatically. Right now all your ,easures are being put on just two systems because they fit. Presumably, they are still empty. But as soon as you start filling them with music, MuseScore will rearrange them for you automatically as you work, adding systems as necessary. You can also override MuseScore's decisions using the Stretch facility and the Breaks facility (see the handbook).
