Can't get rid of drum notation.
I wrote-out a multi-voice score and played it back with various instruments. But now the drum notations "x" will randomly not go back to regular notes. Even if I try to re-enter the notes they revert to "x". What gives?

It is generally easier to help if you attach the actual score, not just a picture of it. I can guess that those were entered as "ghost notes" - that's a legitimate guitar notation, not a drum notation - but I can't really say more just from the picture.

It was originally done as guitar notation with "regular" notes. I was playing with the playback and tried percussion instruments. The notes changed to "X". When I went back to playing with guitar not all the notes changed from "x". When I deleted the "x" and re-entered it in tab, it still reverted back to an "x". I eventually saved the file and re-loaded it and the notes were back to normal. So whatever "bug" this may be, it's minor; well, at least after you know the fix. everlasting arms.mscz

By definition, drum notation is not intended for guitar notation.
To obtain a ghost note/ dead note, indicated by a "x" in a score for guitar, you must select the wished notes, and use the shorcut: Shift + x.
