Scaling of fretboard chord diagrams

I frequently want to scale up chord diagrams quite large, like 2x bigger.

Unfortunately the 'O' symbol for open string, and 'X' symbol for muted string do not scale up with the rest of the diagram.

Can the system be improved to scale up these symbols with the rest of the diagram?
