Spelling errors in Dutch translation

The Dutch translation of the website is riddled with spelling errors. (I've compiled a short list below.) Some of these errors are so severe that the Dutch website is more confusing than helpful.
I would suggest asking someone human to translate it properly, or drop the Dutch site altogether. (Most Dutch people are fine with an English site anyway.

(The list of errors is submitted in Dutch, as discussing Dutch spelling errors in English will only add confusion.)

  • Voorpagina:
    • Titel: "muziek notatie software" wordt in het Nederlands geschreven als één woord, dus "muzieknotatiesoftware" is correct. Zie ook http://www.spatiegebruik.nl/ .
    • Evenzo moet "platform onafhankelijk" zijn: "platformonafhankelijk".
    • "virtueel bladmuziek" moet zijn "virtuele bladmuziek".
    • "Integreerde" moet zijn "Geïntegreerde".
    • "Platform onafhankelijk" moet zijn "platformonafhankelijk"; "installatie pakketten" moet zijn "installatiepakketten".
    • "GNU GPL licentie" moet zijn "GNU GPL-licentie". Zie bovendien http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAS_syndrome ,
    • "MuseScore Samenkomst" moet zijn "MuseScore-bijeenkomst".
    • "Scherm afbeeldingen" moet zijn "Schermafbeeldingen". Als je echter wilt dat iemand begrijpt wat je bedoelt, is ook "Screenshots" acceptabel.
    • "Recent changes" moet zijn "Recente wijzigingen"
  • Op http://musescore.org/nl/functies :
    • "Automatische noot positionering" moet zijn "Automatische plaatsing van noten". Bovendien zou ik er niet mee adverteren; deze functionaliteit is zo alomtegenwoordig dat het niet echt een pluspunt meer is.
    • "Drum notatie" moet zijn "Drumnotatie".
    • "Overschrijdende notenbalk waardestreep": nee. Gewoon nee. Tenzij je hier een echte vertaling voor kunt vinden, zou ik het weghalen.
  • Op http://musescore.org/nl/scherm-afbeeldingen :
    • Elke kop is verkeerd gespeld, sommigen tot op het punt dat het niet meer te achterhalen is wat er oorspronkelijk bedoeld werd.

Hi Thijs,

Thanks a lot for your valuable input. Indeed, the translation is quite low standard. I followed your advice until the last part of the screenshots.

I also gave your account translation permissions so now you can edit all the Dutch pages on musescore.org.

What I will do this week is do a run over all the menu pages and adjust the texts, update the screenshots etc. Just iterate until things are right and up to the standards of commercial software. Once that is done, I'll do a call to the musescore.org translators to update the page translations. I'd be very happy if we could work together on the Dutch translation. It's quite fun to work with multiple people on this.
